Metal guitar maestro, Marty Friedman have premiered a new music video which is made for his latest single 'Meathook' taken from the virtuoso's latest solo record “Inferno”. Already putting out his record back in 2014, the latest clip was a special celebration for his upcoming performance at the Hollywood ball scheduled for Sunday, August 14, 2016. The music video itself was first premiered in collaboration with Billboard before eventually being made available for streaming via Prostethic records' official Youtube channel back on Agust 4.
Reviewing the clip, Marty offered a nice HD shot of him along with rock sax player, Jorgen Munkeby, who was involved in the recording of 'Meathook' itself. Combination of those two metal music maestro are exciting indeed, though there's also gruesome additional short clips being inserted randomly, showcasing meat and dead humans. I will leave it out to your own interpretation about that odd and somewhat weird short highlights, but in all it was still an interesting clip to watch especially for metal heads as they will surely be occupied by the excellent and soaring track instead.
Speaking more about his upcoming performance at Hollywood Bowl, Marty will be performing with his friends, the renown acoustic Flamenco duo, Rodrido y Gabriella. The former Megadeth guitarist was really excited with his upcoming show, stating “ I`m SO excited to play the Hollywood Bowl, and even more excited to do it with my friends Rodrigo y Gabriela AND a full orchestra! They did a great collaboration with me on my "Inferno" album and we've met several times in Japan talking about how to make this Hollywood Bowl show a once in a lifetime kind of ultra special show. Can not wait,” as quoted via his official mailing list.
Moreover, Prosthetic Records also confirmed that aside from gearing for his shows, Marty is also preparing some materials for a new solo album, which is scheduled for 2017 release. No other details have been added yet, but should something new arrive, we will immediately inform all of you metal heads and guitar lovers all over the globe.
